Welcome to the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (DGF) Public Schools. On behalf of the Board of Education, faculty, and staff, we invite you to visit our school district and discover the many advantages offered by our district. We believe we provide the opportunities of a large school within a small school environment. We serve a regional population of over 6,700 and blend small-town rural values with the advantages of the F-M Metro area. DGF is a reorganized school district that includes the communities of Dilworth, Glyndon and Felton, the re-organization was completed in 1994. The Dilworth site consists of an elementary school and DGF Junior High School. The Glyndon site also has an elementary school and the DGF High School. Both sites have Early Childhood and Community Education Programs. The district's strong partnerships and support within all three communities provides a cooperative, caring atmosphere. In 1997 the district completed a major $10 million construction and renovation project at both sites. Again in 2003, the district completed an additional $7 million dollar construction and renovation project at both sites. The end result has been a quality school facility and an excellent learning environment. Our school district has a strong focus on student learning and achievement. This past year was a banner year for our students and district. Student recognition in learning, fine arts, athletics and leadership continued the traditions of excellence established by the three independent schools before the merger. The DGF School district has a K-12 enrollment of 1300 plus students including approximately 160 open enrolled students from other districts. The District employs over 175 staff members and has an annual operating budget at approximately $11 million dollars. We encourage you to review our district data at the Minnesota Department of Education website. Please contact the District Office at Dilworth if you have further questions about our school system. Again, welcome to DGF "Home of the Rebels".
